Maybe your brackets would look a little tidier if the back of the brackets were concealed behind the drilled holes secured using bolts with washers and locking nuts.

What bait to use in middle of May?
@davidjessee77018 ай бұрын
One tip… assemble everything on the drain plug side on the work bench, then feed the other end of the cable through the drain hole from the outside then secure to the transom.. that way your not doing everything on your head or on the ground underneath the motor…

Seems to me , and this drives crazy on oil fills. They should have 1 line “ fill to here” easy and idiot proof. Why have a A and B ? In the manual does it say fill it to middle?

Yes it does

You ran the engine without muffs??? Read the manual again. The garden hose you hooked just flushes the lower end. You ran the engine without water to the upper end. Don’t show people how to do things the wrong way!

My two trolling motor batteries are in the bow, my cranking battery is in the back. I’d like to have a switch for both. Would it be simpler to have two separate switches? Or also a 3rd switch for my accessories?
@rocketcityoutdoors10 ай бұрын
Yes, this switch allows for emergency jumping of your cranking battery from your trolling motor batteries, that is all

Have you ever thought of making one longer straight bracket to hold 2 or 3 switches? I think it would make it more uniform and clean looking.

Do you know how to remove the knob on Blue Sea System battery switch that has a removable knob for lock-out? Mine is a 6007 but the knob does not seem to just slide off. Thanks
@rocketcityoutdoors Жыл бұрын
Hey I don’t think the 6007 has that option. See here: www.bluesea.com/products/6007/m-Series_Mini_Selector_Battery_Switch_-_Red Documents - installation - instructions
@chrism2042 Жыл бұрын
@@rocketcityoutdoors - Thanks. I thought I saw info showing that switch had removable knob. My previous bay boat had the battery switch inside the lockable console, this one has the switch in a non-lockable storage area right below the helm (easy access). Even though I only take my boat on a couple trips a year staying at a canal house or lake house, I don't like the idea about the battery switch location.

I don’t think they can legally block off a section of the river like they have done. The land owner only owns to the waters edge. The river belongs to TVA and the State of Alabama.

It's not blocking off the river. The man made his own island and a small bridge connects it to his main property. It's been there for years and years.
