Thank you! Hit and run. Shop wanted $13K to repair, which totaled it. With this and some stearing parts that I can replace myself, I'll have her back on the road for under $1K!

Have you noticed improved air quality since installing? Any negatives you have found? I'm very smell/chemical sensitive so concerned about that.

I would have loved to see how you put that quick. Connect lower radiator hose back on to the radiator there's no videos about that, and if you don't get it right, it will come back back off and lose all your coolent

On my 2011 Sierra Duramax, the power windows deactivate the cruise when they reach the end of travel (up or down). A new brake switch didn't solve the issue. Still hunting the gremlin.

I replaced my my brake booster for a leak and now the brake switch is giving me issues.. the shop cuz fix it and bought a new one and still having issues with it.. when i push the brake pedal the switch moves off balance and the lights stay on, but when i move the switch by hand the brake light go off.. how do i fix it from moving and make it stop make my brake lights stay on..

That's not the brake switch. That's the brake light switch. There is another switch that is also an issue. These vehicles have sensors attached to another switch. That switch has the plunger that sends a message to the position sensor.

does the bolt have to stick out so far or do you tighten it as much as you can when you put the bolt back onto the brake switch?

The truck could very possibly have a sub in the center under armrest should definitely connect sub wire. 👍

You can replace it..but I you feel handy..you can remove and disassemble the switch and adjust the contacts inside..they just get sprug over time..I just did it on my 2008 GMC sierra..it took like 10 minutes and my cruise control was back in business. No money spent!

My 07 Silverado brakes light worked but no cruise control. Change out my brake pedal switch and cruise control working all good. What confused me was the brake light was working.

Ok people any help for my truck 09 1500, lights and cruise control work, but intermittently. When i turn right the lights and cruise control work fine when i straighten the wheel, but as sson as i turn left the slightest my steering wheel shuts off completely, no lights, no cruise. Im thinking the harness in the steering wheel, the airbag clockspring, and now im thinking the brake switch. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anything would help

I recently purchased an 08 Silverado it was showing low oil pressure after a warm-up, I put about 6 oz of seafoam in it and about 10 days later it's clear as a bell. Showing about 40 at first startup about 30 or so after warm up, and about fifty or so when you get on it
