Easier to do from the top. Just remove air filter cover & unplug MAF connection. Use stubby 1/4 ratchet with a 3/8 adapter for socket. Disconnect & remove old sensor and replace with new sensor and reconnect wires. Done in 15 mins.

I'm 53 and looking for another ac 225 tombstone. Many trailer been built with the one I had years ago, wood heaters, smokers, and I can't remember how many repairs on various tractors, and it still worked when I traded it. Wish I never had. I'd just as soon have a Lincoln AC 225 than any other welder besides an SA-200. But, I can do anything with an AC225 tombstone for $150 - $250 anybody can with a $20,000 rig, and they last long enough ya great grandkids can still use them. Give me some good 6013, 6011, and I build my trailers with Lincoln 7018AC. Dot code says it has to be 70,000 tensile strength welds. No problem 7018AC rods fit the bill. You go man, I can tell from the sound you know what you are doing. God bless and work safe brother.

@@gambollo use a big funnel that fits tight on the cap housing of the radiator, and fill it 1/4 of the funnel with coolant. Then start the car and be looking for the bubbles, when you don’t see no more bubbles then all the air is out of the system.

Also though, before you start, disconnect the hose at the EGR and put a towel under it, fill the radiator until coolant starts coming out that hose then push the hose back on and move the clamp back up. Fill the overflow tank. Fill the funnel as the OP states, run the car at 1700 to 2000 rpm so that the system fully feeds the entire paths/channels. See the video also by The Car Care Nut.
