Nice video bro. Hoping to hit the white sucker run here this spring. What are your favorite fly patterns to use? Seems like eggs, squirmy worms, and scuds were best? Are you weighting down and fishing the bottom or just above the bottom?
@outrightfishin9785
@outrightfishin9785 2 жыл бұрын
Weighted down and since the flow of water is slower on the bottom basically let it just crawl on the bottom of the river bed. Ya those all work best get a wide gap octopus hook for a fly cuz there mouths are alittle weird to hook cuz its all like a fat squid like texture so easily can rip out

I had to chuckle when you said you got a ticket in the park. I use to work at Sibbald Point, hence the term, 'use to'. I ended up quitting. It was the most dysfunctional abusive toxic work environment I have ever worked in. I digress. They put Wardens around the clock during the off-season to issue tickets to those who don't purchase parking permits. I see from your experience it's business as usual. Buy a permit the next time or access the lake from the boat launch and park on the ice. I know for a fact that they have no legal authority to ticket people on the water/ice. And, yes, tickets issued are sent to Provincial Offenses for processing. It's not a fake ticket. Good luck with the ice fishing.

The bay has been pretty slow last couple days it seems. Was out there today off of bear point from 7am till noon pretty much. Only 1 bite in a group of 4 people, had live scope and only a couple of marks. People around got nothing too, no bites no marks. Brutal
