Duffins Creek Ajax Water Report (March 14th, 2021)

Hey guys, changing things up abit and doing a creek report!!! Just went to see if the ice is gone and what the water was like in ajax at duffins creek just off bayley street N and westney. This was two days ago and the water is alot better jow. Much more clear and the fish are coming in fast!!!! The steelies are tanking there way in there and you guys gotta go get in on some action!!! I didnt catch one this time as my line slipped due to my knot being bad. I went the next day and didnt film cuz i didnt think i was going to catch anything but ended up landing a nice buck 8 pounder. Its very nice right now but very pressured atm. Water is low but lots of fish. Hit it early morning or near evening and u will land one

Honestly in lower water conditions id say go up near golf course where water is faster and if u go down near the lions club there are afew good bends with some prime locations for rainbows. Ur into the float or fly fishing?

Yes sir! Its hard for me to teach u on that cuz fly fishing is my go-to but yes u can. If u search up and learn what they call “twitch jigs” then u can try that method. Or u can search up how to “floatfish” with a spinner rod and indicator. U cant rlly rip a spinner through the rivers i mean u can but idk iv never heard of anybody having any reward from it

You absolutely can I use spin rod 75% of the time. When I first started I used a 20 dollar Canadian tier special lol
