Salut ! ! Multumesc !
@AlbaEcstasyАй бұрын
Salut!

Will Roland fix the product defect of the S-1 having no MIDI Volume (CC07)? That controller has been in Roland products for 40 years. Why did Roland mess this up? All they need to do is fix this problem in a firmware update. What a shame they ruined such a fine product with this major oversight. Nice video, though. I ordered an S-1 and it arrived yesterday, but it was defective, so I had to return it. Roland? Are you okay? What's wrong with you?

Microcosm is such a great product, the music is very inspiring and this little Roland is.....well designed, but i have too much volcas collecting dust as gear gets better but its surely worth its price. The Microcosm (here in Europe) is expensive because one would have to import it from the US by now and in my opinion there are better alternatives. But im sure it has its value once its becoming part of a good setup.
@AlbaEcstasy2 ай бұрын
Lately I had a few offers to sell my Microcosm - but it's a keeper. And even for effects I am more inclined to use virtual effects for production reasons (much easier to do automations), it's great to already have a source - drones for example - having such an effect hardware could be a true time saviour. And as you said, it's pretty hard to get one in EU. I was lucky that Hologram sent me one!
@tombeton93002 ай бұрын
Absolutely, but give the track a sensible name instead of naming the tool of your creation. Don't hesitate to work longer on the piece, give the listener time to immerse themselves in your sounds and develop a mood. Have the courage to exceed the CD length.

@AlbaEcstasy2 ай бұрын
The B2600 is a keeper. It's a cheap synth with quite good capabilities. It was a moment when I wanted to sell it, but it stays nice in my new desk rack!
@Benutzer1012 ай бұрын
Well, i wouldnt say cheap in terms of what it is capable of, but i always look at the Korg Arp 2600 as the real thing now. But still a keeper for me too because its flexibility with incoming Audio. I use the Korg SQ-64 for the 3xOSC of the 2600. You can get amazing results with it, though Overall i prefer the Roland SE-02 because of its awesome Sequenzer, Sound and digital Advantages in its Safe-Structure. Therefore i use 2600 mostly for Experimental Sounds and i Do love the Spring Reverb in the 2600 @@AlbaEcstasy
@AlbaEcstasy2 ай бұрын
@Benutzer101 Cheap for the amount of electronics involved in there and in comparation with other synths on the same range! I am too using now only for FXs, noise, experimental with some pedals, since tuning is a little of a hustle sometimes 🤷♂️
@Benutzer1012 ай бұрын
As Electrical Engineer i totally agree on the components quantity, quality wise they are good enough for what you pay for. The greatest thing is its maintanance friendly Design, you can easily open it up an change some of its Parts suspend them. And yes there are a lot of good alternatives, personally i prefer New technology VA or Analog Modelling as Roland does. I still recommend the 2600 for everyone even a Guitar Player🎉

Just curious, what's your favorite synth? And what synth do you think it's the easiest and most intuitive. Amazing song.
@AlbaEcstasy2 ай бұрын
That’s a hard question! It’s nit easy to pick just one synth, but generally I like the Roland sound: silky pads, crystal clear sequencing sounds, deep&fat bass sounds. But since for the last years my setup is quite the same, what do I own now it’s the essence. Sure, the new UDO, Osmose, Iridium - are on my wish list! Regarding the “easiest&intuitive” as long as you keep learning and practicing, all synths are “the same” but… different! Roland Gaia 1 would be the most easiest way to learn how to program a synth.
