American cities aren't more dangerous than European cities.

If coming from the east to Chicago with a car, I suggest the South Shore line. There are much cheaper to free parking options depending on station with inexpensive fares to the heart of the city with easy L access.
@7easton77 күн бұрын
I take the SSL from South Bend to visit Chicago so I don't need to worry about parking..
@soccerwizard9757 күн бұрын
@7easton7 do you walk to the airport? Or do you pay airport parking?
@7easton77 күн бұрын
@@soccerwizard975 the airport parking is cheaper than parking in Chicago...
@soccerwizard9757 күн бұрын
@7easton7 that's why I'm saying drive to dune park station for free parking. Ogden dune station has some parking too. Plus, until the airport station replacement happens, its more time efficient

Margaritaville- I wish I’d read the reviews. We ate there after the cubs game. STAY away from that restaurant. It was filthy, the hostess asked us for our drink order and they never came. Also she was loud and rude and had no issue yelling the f word in front of my kids she acted like she was high. The food was absolutely nasty. It arrived burnt or under cooked. I had to remind the waiter of my drink order and then it never came. The reviews are at a 3. That should tell you something.

I was just there the weekend before last just before a cubs game. We were unable to purchase tickets to ride the Ferris wheel as for some reason they said my card was declined. Never happened at any other place we visited.

I don’t think anyone’s afraid it’s like prohibition era Chicago…the city is plagued by other types of gangs- not all areas of course.

Are there elevators or escalators, in case I want to travel with luggage?
@14freckles144 ай бұрын
No, I wouldn’t recommend using the train if you have luggage with you, probably just stick with bus or Uber

Downtown is a ghost town. Retailers have left. Shootings are common. Don’t go to the Magnificent Mile. Forget River North at night. All of this is within the mile this nitwit’s talking about.
