towards the end of the video where Joh and Uli were playing the same thing John is looking at his hand and Uli is looking to audience or off elsewhere and still nailing things. Uli is a rare player. you can tell it is with his soul he plays!

That goes all the way back to his Scorpions days. He's almost zen-like with the guitar. Kinda like Jimi was.

@@funkster007 yup. he was same way with Scorpions. Video of him doing Sails of Charon he runs the fast riff like magic with out looking at fret board. Basically eyes closed.

I'm not a guitarist, but I have the utmost respect for them as someone who plays another instrument. I discovered Ulli as a kid with the first time I heard Sails of Charon. When videos became a thing, I started watching him play. I think I've spent probably months of my life watching this man effortlessly create. He's phenomenal to me.

It's like Satrianni is the governor, he keeps it from reaching critical mass, Uli is just on the edge at all times, Petrucci is like the the three wave set before the rogue wave hits again (Uli) then there is a moment of calm, and , a rhythm is reasserted by Satrianni, and the cycle repeats. They make quite a trio!

Dommage que ce monument du rock soit pollué par le son de casserole des guitares de Ulli Roth et Petrucci, qui de plus jouent très médiocrement les attaques et les enchainements. Quant au chanté de Roth, c'est ni fait ni à faire, On frôle le massacre, un vrai bazar ! Qu'est ce que Satriani a dû se faire chier !

I'm from Spain and went to the Madrid concert (April 9, 2018) and it was absolutely amazing to see this 3 guitar gods together (Petrucci is my top guitarist, I'm a big fan. I bought Suspended Animation CD on that concert, first time I saw it on sale in Spain). It's so nice watch this video and remeber that concert. They played together Highway Star too, and it was terrific. I wish Satriani come back with a new tour. By the way, he missed some notes playing Cherry Blossoms!! Maybe he is human?
