Thus and again proving there is no better or best and that music is subjective - me being a massive Petrucci and Satriani fan, but preferring Roth to both of them in this class and era of music. For me personally - Uli = right piece, right puzzle. Joe and John = wrong piece, wrong puzzle. I don't say that competitively, but rather contextually. Still, I appreciate their interpretations and love both. As well a huge fan of Roth who is a master in his own right.

@ekbergpeter69873 жыл бұрын
@@Frip36 Arrogant is the last word I would use to describe Uli. He is a very humle an genuine person and one who really cares about his fans. He left Scorpions only because his music didn't fit in and he wanted to explore other music. And he did make it with Scorpions the time he was with them. Those albums are timeless and will never go out of time as Scorpions later albums will do. He played on many concerts as guest after he left as well. And seeing him play with other musicians you can see he often gives others space to shine. I have met him several times and at a concert in Copenhagen he even let my friends 11 year old daughter play drums in one song. So No, he is not arrogant. I can not really understand what makes you think so.

@@Frip36 I've seen a lot of interviews with him. I think it's your way to see people. Or not see people. I can understand if he gets a little tired of the same question for the hundred times or so about why he left Scorps, but still not arrogant. I remember watching him in an old tv-show where he should judge videos of upcoming bands. The interviewer asks him if the guitarsolo was good. Obviously he didn't think so and he had really hard times just to say that. But of course you have a free mind to think so but everywhere I see people writing how much gentleman he is. I don't know what you have seen of course and everyone can have a bad day.
