The real reason why we haven't seen a DMC6 yet: Itsuno spent the last 5 years working on Dragon's Dogma 2 and that just released. Considering DMC6 is probably only starting development around now(if its even been greenlit) don't expect to see it until roughly 2028 or 2029.

Something I noticed Sparda is called the Dark Knight. His sons Dante and Vergil, in DMCV wear something black beneath their coats. Dante wears a Red coat (his signature color) and Vergil wears a Blue coat (his signature color). While they are their own person, they are still demons in the inside. Nero is the child of Vergil. So naturally he wears the color blue. But his inside is the color red. This shows that while he may have the rough exterior of his father, he has the good heart of his uncle.
