The real reason why we haven't seen a DMC6 yet: Itsuno spent the last 5 years working on Dragon's Dogma 2 and that just released. Considering DMC6 is probably only starting development around now(if its even been greenlit) don't expect to see it until roughly 2028 or 2029.
