Is that ratio ink/water enough to change the properties of the paper's surface too (fabriano or arches hot press) or only sizing with liquid shellac can do it?

Saw them live at a really small club right after this was released with Talley on drums. Fucking insanity. The hunger was still there back then. Not that they are bad now, but, youthful energy is a force to be reckoned with. Something you can't "recapture".

To date, I mix black and white acrylic paint to get nice grey, and add a lot of water. This mixture I add in two layers on paper or canvas, and works ok. I will try this method too. Best regards from Serbia.
