That was originally the plan but it seems the game isn't too popular so I just ended up putting it in the back burner. If I were to do it, I would preferably want to wait to see some sort of mod that make the day-night cycle real time. Since all my walks are usually in one long segment, they will inevitably ended up with seeing the day turn into night and even back into day in a single walk if the day-cycle is not real time. It's good for gameplay, but for walks I feel this is a bit immersion breaking 😅. It's not a hard rule for me though, so we shall see.

@@FableAmble that makes sense, those mods are essential, in your experience would playing through Witcher 3 work with such a mod or does it break quests etc etc? It’s mostly all in real time so I suspect it would work ok 🤔

I didn't play through Witcher 3 with the time scale changed so I am not sure if it will break quest. However, since in Witcher 3 you can change the time scale with the built-in console without using mod, I think chances are high that it would work with most quests. But yeah, the original day-night cycle in Witcher 3 is quite a bit lot longer than most other games.

@@FableAmble great, good to know, I think Horizon Zero Dawn is also a good one and has a mod to slow time, but with the world being so populated with monsters it would be hard to record a relaxed walk through the open world haha

I changed the weather to the one used for the Astronomy class. It removed clouds and fog.

Yeah, especially in the DLC areas, where they had included even more details than in the base game. Speaking of RDR2, I do own the game, but never got fully into it because of the strange controls. Maybe one day I will get around the hurdle and try to walk in that game.

In the Witcher 3? Perhaps 🤔. I do have some of the forests on the Skellige Isles in mind, but I have not plotted a path that is long enough yet. We shall see 🙂.

Yeah, this would have been a wonderful city to walk around in if it's available in its original form before the event happened. Imagine seeing all the friendly puppets along with all the people having their day to day life in the city.

This was recorded on 2.01. They fixed the people running through cars in 2.02, so this doesn't happen anymore in newer walks (as far as I can tell). Stay tuned 😎.

That would have been awesome. More immersion in game and possibility of doing more interesting walks 😏

I'd settle for an option to sit in any unoccupied seats that are already tagged for NPCs to have the option of interacting with. Say, stare at a seat (out of combat) for 1 second, and if unnamed NPCs can use it, the option to sit ('F' or other activation key) appears.

You can already mostly do that with a mod. See what I did at the start and at the end of the video? 🙂
