Same thing happened to me yesterday. Thought a bird grabbed my drone, it came down to 5 meters until i guided it into a tree. It landed "safely" and flipped itself because it hit a Fence before touching down. Drone was covered in moss, all props were scratched to oblivion. The first owner didn't tighten the screw of the rear right prop.

They are doing a new white colour called Dover in the standard range from Bunnings. Should be good enough

@@Wallabynge I ended up paying an extra $3k to get the coolmax. Colorbond only sell it in commercial quantities (5000sqm minimum), I was lucky that a school or shopping centre had an order in and I added an extra 300 onto that. Dover white is being used for the flashing and ridge caps. Only 1 roofer out of 6 was bothered enough to help me source the coolmax. This is in metro Adelaide.

The coolmax works fine, except, like with all cool coatings and white paint, you get black organic glurge growing in the troughs. This could be pressure cleaned off occasionally. Snails try to eat it a bit. I don't think it affects the thermal characteristics much. The roof inside is definitely cooler, but I havent had really bad 43C weather much, since it was installed. I got a second batch over the main rooms. One thing that pisses me off is that the pitch of the wave does not match the old stuff from 1994. It's out by 6-7mm, so it's hard to slide under the other stuff. They have made a cool white colour in the standard range, so you don't have to fork $25/m for coolmax. Always buy 0.48 Base Metal.

i will give you all advice (based on my experience) i play drone a lot and got many experience about crash in many cases. use the good screw driver 🪛 when you wanna change the propeller, so you didnt break the hole screw. then THE MOSTLY IMPORTANT, always fly your drone in wide area after firmware update, because as my experience, the drone will hover randomly and the sensors seems not working properly after the first fly after firmware update. i slice my finger when trying to stop drone hitting the wall because hovering uncontrolled however the RC was in Normal position

It was fatal. The front got smashed. But covered under warranty, due to it being a DJI-installed prop. It was easy to find, from the last known position, but it could ave been a difficult one.

I’m very sorry it happened. I had the mini 2 but then it lost propellers and did a fatal crash. So then I upgraded to the Mini 3 base not pro

Gimbal got smashed. Camera was OK, but GPS went out, and it wouldn't start. DJI sends a return postage label for you. If it looks like it's your fault in the online assessment, they ask for $100 for Care Refresh, but if it looks like warranty, you send it in for the full mumble. In a few days I'll know

Fortunally it landed on the ground and not 10m above it in a tree ^^ I lost one of my drones due an similar fault, but never found it again. But got a new one from DJI :D
