I had medical insurance and my insurance didn’t cover mental health and I know I really need therapy as I was going through mental health crisis. (Most of it came from harassment from my employer and under Florida law, I was not protected from discrimination, and Florida law sides with the employer in this case so I was forced to accept it and deal with his harassment) I was told mental health isn’t essential so it wasn’t covered with my insurance and if I wanted to see a therapist. I could not afford it so I just had to go on without help. I need to pay full out of pocket and I was financially struggling and part of that stress came from that so I doubt the new laws will even provide mental health care for these people. I came to FL as someone the leans more red but now I lean more blue, there isn’t enough laws that protect the smaller people.

Correction, those are NOT laws, they are Statutory Regulations created by the legislature. A law is the “law of gravity.” Know the difference.
