Sad story. Bad luck, sometimes people go off the road and hit cars parked in the emergency lane, even hit police cars sitting with their lights on. Sadly, even in the days before cell phones this would happen all the time.

What exactly would taking driver's ed do? People learn not to drive faster than the speed limit, but they still do. FL does require a road test. This driver probably ran up on a car too fast, SWERVED to miss it and lost control.

Jamaican an assumption that something didn't go wrong in the vehicle you're assuming she's going to face charges if a tire blew out how would it be her fault for example. Because if a tire blows out or something in the steering goes out then you have no control over the vehicle.

FHP is investigating. Traffic accidents of this kind where there are deaths take time. Even more so with it being police officers that were killed. They were off the road. She was most likely speeding so that is considered careless driving which ended up taking lives. If they find that it was speeding she can and will be charged with vehicular manslaughter. Remember a vehicle is not a toy or convenience. Way too many selfish, careless people driving on our roads today.

Yep, I am a trucker and we have 30 times a death rate police too… Being a cop is very safe and we do not cry like little cows and babies because we are scared to do our jobs… Right Uvalde?

Facts… I’m a tow truck driver and I’m on the highway 12hrs a day 5 days a week. When there isn’t a police car behind me, drivers don’t slow down or move over. My truck was side swiped one time I was picking up a car. It can happen to anyone.
