I got confused by his last analysis of block B so I need to correct myself. Yes Ta=Tb=T and acca = accb=a Then I calculated T=56 , a=-3.864, s=-3.235

hi ,i somehow got exactly half your answers using a FBD , i drew it with two arrows down which were the number of bolts and the pressure force of bolt and the one arrow going up is the pressure force , i used the sum of Fy =0 and Fx=0 ,it looked something like this : PF-Number of bolts{pressure force of bolt)--Number of bolts{pressure force of bolt)=0 ,i am not sure how i have done this wrong as i have been using chegg,thank you for the video your very good at teaching

How to calculate the centroid of a triangle like how do you considered the point load distance at 4m ???
@charliebegg58644 күн бұрын
Hi Jeff, i know you get alot of questions here but i will shoot my shot anyways. when we take the moment at C, you neglected the Y force from the applied force at point A. if we are estimating a 50mm displacement, that could be considered significant enough to affect out displacement value. Force -Ay (75N)*(xd) would need to be addded to our moment equation then. just by estimating its value, i would think 55mm would be more correct now right?

Thanks . Some teachers who are right handed learn to write on the board with their right arm outstretched facing the audience in part. With your back turned all the work Is covered until you stop and step away. Got a little behind because of the covering up of the board, then would have to wait until you stepped away so I could see the completed work and what it meant. No complaint just helping with your style.

If you put your middle finger up on the right hand rule of thumb this is how you see the axis on a CNC vertical mill for programming in G-code (9:10), with the middle finger the z axis, thumb the x and index the y.

Dr. Hanson - from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your videos are the only thing that got me through both statics and solids, and you make it all fun and easy to understand too. You're the only prof that's made me genuinely enjoy studying! So again - thank you.
