Just started lifting last week, and my max was 170kg, I absolutely love lifting.

So you've never trained before and were able to lift 170kg ?
@stevenemes39373 ай бұрын
@cybervenom6961 yes, but I was being coached by a professional. He made sure my form was good enough before I tried that much weight.
@GymBro923 ай бұрын
Very strong! Have you done any other sport or training or are you just that strong naturally? 😀
@stevenemes39373 ай бұрын
@@GymBro92 I'd say mostly genetics. I've never really done any sort of sports, but I've always had big legs.

Aite that 170kg, bro? 75 each side, and the bar is 20.
@GymBro923 ай бұрын
I wish it was, but it is one 20kg, two 15kg, one 10kg and one 5kg on each side so that is 65 on each side and the bar is 20kg so total 150kg.

When I do deadlift, I try to lift as much as possible with my glutes and hamstring, and getting my core stable with deep breathes in and exhaling on the slow negative. For me, its not a back workout, but more as mentioned muscle groups. I am deeply impressed on the amount weight and your reps. Normaly I see people will do one rep with your amount of weight. I do on my last: 180kg with 2sets of 5 reps. Thats my max. Keep on going!
@GymBro923 ай бұрын
Thank you! I deadlift like this on my back days, and on my leg days i do more of a stiff leg deadlift and focus on my glutes and hamstrings. So I do both styles. That is impressive! You are strong. Keep grinding!

Attaining happiness when you wake up is something I haven't had for 6 years. Any tips? I miss it
@GymBro924 ай бұрын
That sounds tough. Try to get enough sleep. Maybe prepare a breakfast you enjoy and looking forward to eat. Try to think positive. Maybe make some plans for the day that you enjoy doing. Set some goals for the future that you try to achieve so you have something that makes you feel motivated. Try not to snooze in the morning, just get up and start your day. Maybe take a walk in the sunlight directly in the morning.

Yes, I like it. You can use a dumbbell instead if that feels better. I usually do it with a dumbbell. It gives a good stretch in the triceps.
Saw this first thing in the morning now I’m motivated af, thx bro

i used to do 3 biceps exercises and seen no result, but its been growing not really well since i switched to 2, should i make it to 3?
@GymBro925 ай бұрын
There are many factors that determines if your biceps will grow. You need to make sure that you push yourself in the gym and go to failure at least a few of the sets. Make sure you eat enough food and protein and sleep enough so that the body has the right building blocks. Train your biceps atleast weekly and do 6-15 sets of biceps every week. If you stick to 2 exercises or do 3, 4 or 5 exercises is not the main issue i would say. And use good technique when performing the exercises.

feels like this is aimed at experienced lifters because the load is very high; if you're a newbie, preacher curls (machine is the best by far), cable hammer curls and cable reverse curls will target all areas of your biceps and your forearms very well.
@GymBro925 ай бұрын
I don't think you need to be an experienced lifter to do any of these exercises. I have seen 75+ year old newbies do barbell curls, dumbbell curls and hammer curls with no issues.

Working out is the fun part, eating is the less-fun part, mostly on a cut, eating on a bulk is just about quantity but you still have to keep quality in mind.

This gym has plenty of floor space between equipment which is super nice. I like most of the machines you have. For the floor see if you can seal the rough spots so the floor stays cleaner. You said you have electricity and i saw a lamp. Why not get a few inexpensive space heaters for the winter and fans for the summer?
