Does this have anything to do with elevated IgG4 antibodies in people mRNA vaccinated with 2 or more shots? People have been eating garbage, not exercising, and smoking for decades before we've seen cancer rate increases in the under 45 group. And it's increased exponentially over the last few years. I think it's a combination of Covid and the V for it. Some experts believe the V suppresses p53. Is this true or not? I feel like there won't be a real study on this for a long time because it would make so many people lose complete trust in the system. The fact that so many people aren't even able to ask these types of questions without stigma or censorship tells me everything I need to know. The truth will reveal itself over time though.

Started 18 days ago. A few hot flashes here and there but nothing else. I tolerated chemo and radiation extremely well tho. I had gastric bypass 9 mos before my bc diag and recovered from that w/o any issues as well. I go into any medical treatments/procedures expecting the BEST.

I had it done out of pocket. My test result was negative. The false negative rate is very low (98.5%). I'm satisfied with that result.

Thank you for the clear and precise information. I'm ER+, PR+,HER2- breast cancer survivor stage 1 and with no nodule involvement. I had double masectomy surgery about 4 weeks ago. The plan now recommended is to take Anastrazole and Zolodex shot every 3 months. I just started the AI pill but not yet shots. The oncologist says I'm pre-menopausal but OBGYN told me I'm menopausal because FSH level was low. I'm still having a period every month. My question is how does Dr know for sure if I'm menopausal? If you have an ovary and fallopian tube removal would I still need to take shots every 3 months? Also, the oncologist recommended having the shot in glutes instead of the stomach area. I appreciate any feedback and look forward to your advice...

At 54 I had an abnormal Pap smear, followed by an EB, which came back normal. When I was 57 my periods became very heavy with clots that caused severe cramping and they would start at times I wasn’t due for it. They somewhat settled down after a year of that, but I continued having somewhat heavy periods. I am now 60 years old. I had what I thought was my last period 9 months ago. I was so happy. Until May…I started again with a period that lasted 7 to 9 days. Other than that I feel great…but I’ve had a period since I was 11 years old. I feel like I will have it until I die.

Just had a blood work done my alt and ast wbc syrocket. My blood work was fine last year and this year they’re sending me to get an ultrasound on my liver due to the blood results. I’ve been taking this for my breast cancer that I had taken care of two years ago. Is this a side effect of the medication high blood readings?

Vegetables carry and plants have carcinogens in them naturally much more than meat. Also that carcinogens your finding in meat is absorbed through the grains and feed they are given that have these natural carcinogens. Not to mention the chemicals they spray them with that also has carcinogen in it.

If one has dense breasts, and therefore always gets tested with both mammograms and ultrasounds as a result, why can’t the mammogram part be skipped to go straight for the ultrasound? How can one manage to get just an ultrasound and forgo the mammogram? The imaging place I’ve gone to won’t let me get only the ultrasound, even with a prescription for the ultrasound. They force you to get a mammogram first. So I stopped going altogether, which isn’t what I wanted either. Why can’t people have control over their medical choices?
@drteplinsky

Mammography provides information that ultrasound doesn’t. An ultrasound alone isn’t appropriate breast cancer screening bc it will miss a lot.

All the radiation and physical trauma to the breasts from mammograms make it an awful choice. And if you have ‘dense breasts’, they can tell you to get mammograms & ultrasounds every 6 months. That’s crazy. Seems harmful. And outdated. So what are we to do??

Waiting for staging after debulking surgery but just dx with HGS carcinoma female pelvis, malignant pleural effusion, malignant ascites, carcinomatosis, I just turned 60 and alcohol was my only risk factor. I ate well, exercised, even used IR sauna and cold plunged 4 x week. But I drank 2 or 3 glasses of wine 2 or 3 x week. Glad you're spreading the message that alcohol is carcinogenic! And if you reply to this I'm 5' 7" and weigh 123 lbs, I'm eating well, protein with every meal, should I try to put on 10 lbs prior to debulking surgery?? I feel like I'll probably lose about 10 lbs during the recovery period. Thanks

Great conversation!! To offer a different perspective, after my hysterectomy, the muscles in my pelvic floor are too tight, so my pelvic floor PT advised relaxation exercises instead of kegels which was a godsend. Kegels are an important exercise but aren’t the solution to every problem.

My sister has just been diagnosed with stage 4 Brest cancer. She had it in 2021. It was treated and she was having back pain for 6 months went to the doctor he said it was muscular. Didn’t do bloods or anything mri scan. She went private for mri scan and it is on her spine. It has spread to her spine, back of neck, ribs and liver. She is getting radiotherapy,target therapy. The oncologist said he can treat it but can’t cure it.

Please HELP!!! I'm 72 years old with neuroendoccrine breast carcinoma 3.1cm stage 2 poorly differentiated. I'm aware its a very agressive cancer. I had lumpectomy and my surgeon confirms that lymphs nodes were negative er+ pr+ her2- . All tissue around cancer margins very good. I saw two oncologists, one for radiation and the other for chemo. They don't know if I will benefit from chemo but I will have radiaton and hormones therapy. What kind of treatment do you think I should have and are prognostic for this kind of cancer if I take chemo good??? I'm in a good health but I want to have quality of life too and if treatment won't help to live longer then I would refuse chemo treatment. COULD IT BE A PRIMARY CANCER IF THEY DON'T SEE ANYTHING ON SCANS like nuclear bone, ct scan for abdo chest and brain???

I am respectfully submitting one comment that i believe is important to correct so listeners are not misled. However I'm not sure that it can be corrected. My experience & knowledge comes from firstly being a 5.5 year survivor of TN /IBC and secondly I was a radiologic technologist, ultrasonographer and conducted clinical trials in oncology. There was a statement made ("now i know why everybody gets both") that is not really true relevant to mastectomy. Most people do not get bilateral mastectomy and they are not really encouraged by oncologist to do so except for i.e if genetic testing results make that decision for a them. This is SOC practice as the priority is to insure healing of the affective breast in order to start post mastectomy treatment if required and not have to contend with a potential issue with the non-affective breast.
