So many people are doing #dryjanuary or reducing their #alcohol consumption this month so I wanted to chat a little bit about alcohol and #cancer - the facts and recommendations. Let me know your thoughts on the topic!

Surprising information. Didn’t know the breast cancer / alcohol relationship until I was diagnosed with DCIS. I now drink alcohol on special occasions, rather than nightly as a meal compliment. Thank you for posting this topic.

I drank wine for many years, a lot! When I got off work, all I could think was getting home and opening a bottle while fixing dinner. Sad. After being diagnosed, ! I quit and have better sleep, less anxiety, etc. I don’t miss it at all. Thanks for the video.

Waiting for staging after debulking surgery but just dx with HGS carcinoma female pelvis, malignant pleural effusion, malignant ascites, carcinomatosis, I just turned 60 and alcohol was my only risk factor. I ate well, exercised, even used IR sauna and cold plunged 4 x week. But I drank 2 or 3 glasses of wine 2 or 3 x week. Glad you're spreading the message that alcohol is carcinogenic! And if you reply to this I'm 5' 7" and weigh 123 lbs, I'm eating well, protein with every meal, should I try to put on 10 lbs prior to debulking surgery?? I feel like I'll probably lose about 10 lbs during the recovery period. Thanks
