@@travishylton6976 I agree parents do have a responsibility to take care of their children (Poverty or spoiled). Sadly some don't inherit to that hence why having children is not for everyone. James Brown proved just because of his less than fortunate situation that he didn't have to lean on someone else. It actually makes you much stronger because you either sink or swim. His parents sinked but he choose to swim. Good on him. Now he can spoil his children!

JAMES BROWN WAS WRONG DOING THAT TO HIS MOTHER. I LIKED HIM AS A PERFORMER BUT I HATE HOW HE TREATED HIS MOTHER NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED. HE WAS NO WHERE NEAR PERFECT. I HOPE THAT HE ASKED GOD FOR FORGIVENESS. THAT'S FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING HE DID AS A SINGER.

@travishylton6976 So according to your theory there is no forgiveness! So what about the women that he beat up? Should they hold that against him for life? YOU NEED TO LEARN ABOUT FORGIVENESS.

It’s crazy how the mama tried to guilt trip and gaslight her son saying oh I carried you I left because I had to protect you. I understand the first bit but when you escaped your deadbeat, abusive husband and saw your son, you could’ve immediately stopped what you were doing with that Soldier or Navy soldier. Whatever he was and ran up to your son and hugged him saying something like mama found you and Mom is never gonna let you go again or something like that, but she just stared at him and pretend not to know him, no psychologist, but when you’re a child, that is when you absorb the most information, that’s when everything around. You is impressionable so that’s stuck with that man for life.
@MrProteeus10 ай бұрын
You know what honestly sucks is that everybody blames people for the monsters they became but no one apologize for turning them into one I know that’s not an excuse, but at least people would understand more……. James Brown did beat on his wife, but being abandoned by your own mother does tend to make you hateful of women vice versa of a daughter, abandoned by her father. She would probably hate men….. for both sides maybe not but that hatred is still there and it’s because they never healed from that
