Feel like the chatterbait bite is really on and off. Try the Zman jackhammer that's the only one we really throw. multiple 7+ caught in that MLF tournament on Toho this summer with it

I love a left handed reel. Threw a wacky pretty much full time on a spinner, and asked myself why am I changing hands after every cast with a baitcaster?? 😆. The old timers shake their heads at me, but it just seems correct for my fighting arm/jigging arm to be the dominate arm

Man, Im making toward the bottom of the videos. In 2024 what is your ideal shiner rod setup (hooks as well)? My kids seem to be missing a lot with the medium spinning outfits.
@OrlandoBassGuidesАй бұрын
A lot of our Captains use different rigs, usually a medium heavy spinning. Captain Aj uses the Mustad O'Shaughnessy hooks 2/0 and 3/0 . Captain Tyler uses the BKK Mutsu Light Circle-SS in a 3/0
@OrlandoBassGuidesАй бұрын
for the kids id recommend the circle hooks, when a fish bites give it about 3-4 seconds then close the bail. after that wait for the line to get fight and have them do a light lift hooks on it

Usually when I get this comment I just joke around and say no. lol but I'll explain it one time I guess. this is his 2nd time fishing he's not used to holding fish. I grabbed the fish and unhooked it for him and showed him how to have a solid grip. seen to many times where clients grab the fish and drop it off my flats boat buddy, he didn't mind
