In preparation before putting on your harness also ALWAYS conduct a harness inspection both visually (checking for loose threading/tears) and manually (fastening/tugging/pulling straps) to confirm support and promote safety to avoid a potential safety hazard before putting it on. If there is any issues during inspecting the harness, you need to retrieve another one and repeat the inspection process.🙂

Such an informative video! Maybe I have been in warehousing too long here but I immediately noticed the bent upright beam and the pedestrians not wearing a safety vest 😬

I got certified a few days ago after only being on and learning the machine for 20 minutes. That seems very little time but I'm applying for a job tomorrow for this type of work. Nervous as a mofo.

This is probably one of the best order/cherry picking video presentation and trainings that I have watched. Once again, very clear explanation, the attention-to-details is impressive and engaging. Thank you so much Mario! I love you! Thank you Epic safety Chronicle.

I came here to get an idea on how to train people on the reach truck. This is my first week training them. I previously trained them on the order picker and i watched that video and it was very helpful. It got me to the point where everybody i trained was ready to be on their own after 2 days when it usually takes 3 days. They were all beginners as well

Exactly the same selector Ive been driving 90% of a work day for 10 years. I’ve been driving a picker for 32 years now, just different models. All the osha rules are the same for my company except don’t have to wear glasses, thank God. The harness is a hot pain in the ass. The foot pedal is another pain because if you need to go up or down just a few inches or the same moving forward or reverse you have to be on it. Not a bad job in all, more money per hour, of course, is what everyone wants though. 🙂
