It was nasty and we needed to save space. Also bed bugs are in the house.

This job has a tendency to lead to hoarding of things you think is valuable, but never get around to selling or using. About the only thing I keep is cleaning supplies we use on jobs. Obviously if we found money we would keep that.

While donating sounds good, donating is very expensive for us. Donating costs extra trips, extra sorting, extra clean up and would cost me hundreds of dollars on an average clean out. Last but not least our customer requires us to provide dump receipts to keep us honest.

The bathroom was between the 2nd room in and the kitchen, it was very tiny.

If you look at 18:06, you can see the door to the bathroom in the little hall between the second room, and the kitchen. It was very tiny.

It’s maybe 600 sq ft. 1 bedroom. It’s what they called a shotgun house, because you could shoot a shotgun from the front of the house to the back.

Smashing was for space saving. We don’t usually smash it.

Keep in mind it could have held termites or other bugs and feces. Everything isn’t meant for donation. However, I understood what you meant.

I get it but it is still good to pick and choose a little like soft furniture a person needs to look at something to be sure it's worth keeping . I would hope old good things would be salvaged though

No place will take dirty, damaged, dog hair covered or otherwise yucky furniture.

I understand that urge to save. But you did the right thing to cope with the bed bugs. But saving stuff that carries bed bugs is not a good thing. You see the stuff in person, we do not.

I agree. the angles were a little off. dDd I not put a before and after at the very end of the video? I try to make that on every video since someone suggested it. Every new job is a challenge to figure out the best way and placement. Bryan and I have even had *discussions* over this. I am all about editing advice, if you have nay specific thing I should try.
