Do you donate any of the wooden and metal furniture items?

We scrap as much as possible. Mostly just metal. Anything else is usually too degraded to donate.

I would suggest reviewing the video and thinking about how to work smarter not harder. The man in a green top and black cut offs put in a tremendous amount of unnecessary steps. Carrying just a few boards at a time rather than putting in a garbage can or have the black bag far away as he just walked back and forth from and to it. Try sweeping the floor to get a pile and bring the container close to the pile. It might result in less fatigue at the end of the day.

This was a crew we hired off of Craigs list. We provide the tools for all of the suggestions, but I don't press how they get used beyond showing them how best to do the work in the beginning. I pay a set amount for the day and leave it up to the crew to improve their time. They get the same amount whether it takes 1 hour or 5.
