As you can see in the customer images, the big lip on the top can put enough pressure on the ramp to break off the top part of the ramp. Clearly a design flaw. I'm glad that I didn't buy these ramps, and never will because of this.

Just watched ur video on the 3/8 Flex Head Rachet. Was disappointed that u didn't mention anything regarding any issues with the flex head, specifically what do you do when the unit that keeps the flex head stable in the tooth position u happen to choose. I have one of these ratchets, and have been trying to find a seller of the tooth that the spring holds up to engage in the flex head. Hate trying to ask Craftsman to replace the ratches, when I just need the missing broken gizmo....any suggestions? Thanks, Stephen

I nearly blew up my house with this gun. I used it for year with never a problem. I recently used it and when done, pushed the button to get it to COOLING mode, then it stopped....left it plugged in on my work bench. Went out to dinner, came back in through the garage and nothing was on...still plugged it. The following morning I come out my bedroom and smell that distinct smell of burnt plastic....I panic, looked in the office for burnt up computers - nothing...look in the dining room - nothing....then hearing horror stories about Ryobi charger I run to the garage....and yes the garage is full of the acrid smoke....nothing on fire thankfully....I open the garage door and hear the heat gun ON...in the COOLING mode, but clearly glowing red....it melted itself, and melted the tip of my blower...now HERE is why it would have blown up my house. 1 - had a can of ether next to the blower (was having issues starting it) 2 - my acetylene tank and oxygen tanks was under the work bench 3 - about a gallon of gas was adjacent to the workbench. moral of the story...unplug your heat gun after use.

The 144t quick release will prob break the drive before the guts. I believe it’s the same basic body as Gearwrench’s 90t quick release

Those husky ratchets are basically rebranded Sata tools. Same company that makes gear wrench, apex group. The gear wrench ratchets are basically nicer sata ratcheteg. Same company also makes tools for Matco

Both are printed by, and owned buy Haynes. And the reason Chilton is thicker is simple, two columns per page vs 3 colu8mns in the Haynes manuals.

I don't understand. If plastic is so better than metal, why don't they make screw drivers out of plastic?

Great info! I agree about flex heads. I only use when I'm really having trouble reaching a bolt. Husky is good stuff. I'd say on par with Gearwrench and maybe better than the modern Taiwan craftsman.

thanks man you saved me what would have been a bad time, I was assuming the white front clips at the front of the slides had to come out I figured might as well check the old interweb first, never would have known to just slide those parts, drawers came out super easy, my brand new HB series 3 had a hit to the top corner so I couldnt close the top drawer, brand new out of the box didnt see it it until I got it home, quick tip - open the box and inspect it before you get it home, they took an additional 15% off for the damage - the $900 box after I already got it for $750 for opening a HB credit card, still a great deal neon green even tho I had to wait 3 weeks to get it in, thanks again great video saved me from breaking clips I would have tried to remove

I think Icon is basically Snap On styling but really competes more with your Taiwan tool truck stuff. A LOT of which is actually pretty well executed.

Hi, do you know if this can record the average current draw over time? Maybe if you press Max/Min 3 times? On the image on the box it shoes 'AVG' next to 'REL' so I wondered if that meant average? I need to record battery drain on my car. Thank you.

That must be your store That is not the case at my store, only need to bring the broken one back and the stock in my store is insane they always have almost everything in stock and when something does go outta stock it's in stock very fast within a few days. I guess it goes store-by-store experience.

Getting ready to change the spark plugs in my sube and was looking for cost effective low profile ratchet heads and couldn’t find the actual dimensions for either Husky or Gear Wrench so I appreciate you showing them side by side.

Horrible product. I bought one, and it broke first use. If can not handle the force of physically sawing through objects. I bought one to cut PVC weatherstripping for a garage door… the mechanism holding the blade just breaks and won’t hold the blade. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

I really like that this husky locks in multiple places on the teeth. It seems like that would really make a difference in the longevity of the teeth from being stripped.

I have had my Astro 3018 for three years and I mostly like the accuracy. I just wish that the chuck would seal a little better on a tire valve stem and wish that the back light would stay on for more than 10 seconds. I also have a much cheaper $25 Freeman digital inflator where the back light stays on for 20 seconds. It turns on automatically when it is clipped the valve stem. The locking chuck seals better than my 3018. Thanks for the video!
