Here's a back story. to help motivate any would be drummer who reads it. FORTY years ago, there was a drummer for a successful rock band, that experienced a devastating tragedy. A car accident, that would claim his left arm. Within a few months after his hospitalization, that Drummer, brought his bandmates together, and he played THIS TRACK, to prove to his bandmates that HE still is the bands drummer! That rock group went on to become even more successful worldwide, than ever before. The drummers name is Rick Allen. The band is Def Leppard! Keep Learning! Keep Practicing! And, DON'T EVER QUIT!

Charlie was a superstar 50 years ago. I know him as a scholar. A buddy of mine drove to Munic and took lessons for 25€ an hour. Today thats about 125€. After 1 year he told my buddy he cant show him anymore,and my buddy went on as a pro-drummer in a Vienna Orchestra. Amazingly Carlie still alive.

I don’t know how to read sheet music. Can anybody help me find the keyboard tabs for this song? I’ve been searching for months and have had no luck. I really want to learn this song and love the keyboard parts.

So many good ideas stemming from one groove. And you explain it really well. Glad I found you channel. I'm gonna share this to my daughter who plays the drums. So much to take from it. Thanks

thank you for this beautiful video, it was very useful to me! I do have a question, do you also use muffling and if so what kind of? I think I saw moongel, is that correct?
@haf9994 ай бұрын
Great inspiration: You give ideas on how to sound right rather than just showing the exact notes to be played (that might not even suit well to the overall band setup). Thank you.

You teach online?! I really like this style of explanations… I used to play drums when I was young, 7-18 years of age… Now I recently been feeling I wanna start again and been going to music stores just to enjoy playing… I like to find a course for funk and rhythm as I can see my coordination is not at all what it used to be… Really enjoy your videos!
