I got that same Lews Orange combo for $40 today. I could not believe it. It is one awesome combo. So much I want to go grab another one. I had it set up for casting in a few seconds and it is extremely smooth on the casting. Zero backlashes!

I have the Steven's 320( security) version .12ga!!! Fixed Improve Cylinder....LOVE IT, shoots all slugs, birdshots, & buck shots....Love Improved Cylinders shotguns (for they make it very easy to sling ALL types of ammo) without wondering if you gonna damage the barrel!...Honestly had mine for about 2wks now and my 1st shot using 7 1/2, birdshot I felt that recoil...but after my 3rd shot I DO NOT NOTICE THAT RECOIL ANYMORE....but now it's time to step it up to buckshots then slugs (😅🤣😂)..but this is my favorite 1st shotgun and now wanting more to add to my collection...looking at a Dickinson Arms Ermox 12ga (pump/semi) next!!!!! ALL MY SHOTGUNNERS *salute*

Congratulations! Question.....why were you carrying such large packs? Only bring your essentials in your pack and pack light. I've been hunting elk for 34 years. My day pack weighs approximately 15 pounds max. Also, female elk are called "cows", not doe's. No need for a 300 ultra mag. Buy a 30.06, 7mm-08 or a .270 with good bullets. That's all you need. But again, congrats on your first bull.

I got this gun too for under $200.00 at an Army BX. It's surprisingly accurate shooting with a slug from 40-something yard, and very reliable for a budget shotgun.

This combo and the hank parker spinning combo are so so good for the money me and the fiancé have both reeled in large channel cats and bass and they do it just as good as any Abu I've had and these cost significantly less. Pole feels pretty similar to a duckett mico magic for the most part.
