It’s crazy that this was the first video of Matt’s I’ve ever watched… I just didn’t realize it was almost a decade ago.

My daughter's cat disappeared fir a month and the came back dragging his back legs. He us ir was somewhat feral so it took us weeks to get a gold if him. We finally took him to rhe bet and after X-rays we lnew it wasn't a spinal injury. They gave him on antibiotic shot and steroid treatment. I hope it wasn't too late. We've been claiming and washing him up every other day due tohis incontinence but hi has even losing hair and his parts are less swollen. There's too little if any progress but he eats like a champion. Im not sure what comes next. Any advice is deeply welcome. Thank you. Gid bless.

Thank you for this. I found a kitten in the road and she was busted up good; she ended up with a double enucleation because her fractured skull popped her little eyeballs out. I told my boyfriend I need a double enucleation so I don't see these things in the road anymore (she isn't my first). I was curious about how my procedure will go 😬😊

I respect you almost as much as my father, you have been one of my heroes/idols for damn near 10 years now. You, and your crew, have helped me overcome various personal mental illnesses, and addictions. I will always be thankful for what you, your family, and your crew have posted to the ol' youtube...... as a 36 year old man who can fix, or build, just about anything, but still lives with his parents. I know this is an OLD Vet Ranch video, but hadda ask. Isn't there the possibility that he might've had a reaction to a medication the shelter might've administered? I seem to recall that there's a medication that is sometimes used by shelters that can have as side effects the (usually temporary) degredation of sight and hearing and other symptoms? Maybe he reacted poorly to that drug. Has happened before (or from the perspective of this video, in the future).

I pride myself on always having a savings for emergencies, but even if I was broke I would do everything I could to take care of that WAY before it ever got that big. That poor dog.

Wow...much respect. I came here from Demo Ranch and for the last 5 or 6 years had no idea that Matt was a veterinarian. I had seen him referred to as a "vet", but assumed that meant veteran...lol. The biggest mistake I made in my life was not following through my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Mr. Matt/ Dr. Matt we have a beautiful kitten with glass blue eyes and white hair... just beautiful but, this kitty constantly has the runs and we are having a hard time getting it normal. Can you please give us some hints/ clues on what to do. PLEASE?

I had a ferret when I got my first apartment after leaving the Navy. I was 28. He died young. Tore up and ate his cloth igloo. Clogged his guts. I was at work. Came home found him dead, felt like a monster. Still makes sad today.
