Thankyou for that Noni just a question any idea on a museli bar recipe on the Thermo that doesn’t have nuts as I and my 2 children are allergic to nuts?
@THERMOfit6 күн бұрын
You can search in Cookidoo for nut-free using the filters for nut-free and snacks. A lot of recipes, including the protein balls, can be modified to be nut free by exchanging the nut amount for seeds like sunflower seeds & pepitas. Hope this helps x

@THERMOfit27 күн бұрын
Hi @paulinabourde7654 For anyone outside Australia, make sure you're logged into Cookidoo and set your filters to include "Australia" to save the recipe to your created recipes section. Give it a go, and let me know if it works-or if you need more help, I’m here!

Hi, where do you buy the ingredients in Qld please?
@THERMOfitАй бұрын
For the Cacao butter, you can get this at bulk health food stores and many of those sell the cacao paste/block as well. If not, I get mine from here: the-healing-breath-store.org/products/ceremonial-cacao

No sorry the created recipes can only be accessed via a share link as they are a users private collection. Did you try making sure you were logged in and also had the filters set to include Australia first? If that fails I'm uploading to my blog in the next few days so please visit there soon: www.thermofit.com.au/blog

Noni, I would love to try this recipe but here in America we don't find the raw cacao in block form. We have powder of nibs (contains sugar). can I use powder?
@THERMOfitАй бұрын
Hi, yes here is the link to the cacao powder version of the recipe on Cookidoo- cookidoo.com.au/created-recipes/public/recipes/en-AU/01JBWVJZAWZNGEJ5NEZ531DTVQ Just note if you are trying to access this recipe from US Cookidoo you will need to be logged in first and then also have your filters set to include 'Australia' If you want the recipe without Cookidoo it will be available in my Healthy Treats Vol 2 ebook launching next week 😁
@THERMOfitАй бұрын
Also, look for it using the words cacao paste as that's another name it is called. It should be readily available in the US as most of the worlds supply comes from South America. Good luck

Any tips for oat milk?
@THERMOfit2 ай бұрын
I don't really recommend oat milk because it's heavily sprayed and contains gluten (in most cases) BUT if you are going to have it, making it is much better than store bought as that's even worse with additives. Best to use Gluten free and organic oats. I think you can only buy GF oats online, maybe health food stores. I'd say soak 100g then drain, rinse and blend with 1L water, pinch of salt and optional sweetener. Hope that helps 😊

Thankyou so much. I bought a TM31 a few years ago so I could use it manually as where I live the internet is terrible. Hopefully one day I will be able to buy a TM6. Great instruction. Thankyou. 😊💕
@THERMOfit7 ай бұрын
Hi Deb, glad it was helpful. just so you know, you don't really need to be connected to the internet to use the thermomix and not at all if you are using it manually. The only time you need the internet to use the thermomix is if you wanted to search cookidoo for a recipe directly from the TM6. If you were to add recipes to your cookidoo account from your cookidoo app on phone or desktop etc they will then show up on your thermomix collections. It might need a phone hot spot for it to refresh and get them there but definitely ways around it and wanted to let you know unless you thought you needed to be connected all the time 😊

EXCELLENT instruction for us newbies! Though in the US I didn't get the book with my purchase. I'm just starting to play around with the chopping function. It hard boils eggs and steams things really well.

@@THERMOfit The local rep said they sold an ebook at one point, might find one used, but since they put it in the software... that's where it is. Rather disappointing as it would be easier to learn the basics reading an actual book.

@@nsbd90now That's such a shame, I'm sorry to hear that. If you would like me to send you any photos or anything of the manual cooking info from the book let me know. Just get in touch via email [email protected] or send me an instagram/messenger DM.

Would you recommend a thermomix for an 80 plus year old who has just got sick of cooking for one and not eating well like when was younger.
@judilangham21958 ай бұрын
By holding the jug at the bottom of the handle with a couple of fingers holding the Bottom of the jug, it’s a lot easier on your shoulder. If you do have hot liquid be careful you don’t burn yourself. Once you’re tried it you’ll find how much easier it works.

It's best stored in an airtight jar either in the pantry of fridge. Either way it lasts up to 4 weeks. Choose pantry if you like it more spreadable. 😉

It goes in with all the other ingredients as usually protein / bliss balls is an 'all ingredients go in together' recipe. I use 1-2 scoops which is between 30-60g. 😊
