NFL is so inconsistent on these hits. Slow motion destroys the real time fast paced hits. A penalty, yes. But I have seen so much worse that didn't serve ejections or missed games. That is the problem we see with the rule. And fans are going to leave sports as they keep making rules, that change the whole concept of games. All we ask for is consistency!!!

There is no way this should have resulted in an ejection. It was 90% shoulder pad contact. The official should be disciplined by the league and made ti publicly apologize.

the refs weren't going to eject him for that... it was a penalty. He was ejected because the call came for NY... kind of like that late flag when the Lions played Dallas last year. Which is all BS

This was a joke of an ejection. Was it a penalty? Absolutely, it should be called to protect the ball carrier. But an ejection? For a hit that seemed unintentional and non malicious? Against a star player in a huge divisional rivalry? This is the NFL doubling down on their insistence that they control everything and the players are at their mercy.

The NFL is out of control with their Power grabs! The rules state there must be evidence of intent to harm and there was no evidence of that. They clowns in New York didn't even have enough time to investigate the replay before they ejected him. The NFL is a bunch of bullies and they just want $$$$$ that's why they don't suspend players instead they just want $$$. I wondered why they didn’t go after Speaks this year before he got picked up . He played with a lot of animosity & heart with the panthers . I’ve been waiting for Walker myself , I can’t find any downside to getting him. IMHO I BELIEVE OUR COACHING STAFF COULD MAKE THE PERFECT LONG TERM SOLUTION OPPOSITE HUTCH FOR YEARS TO COME AT A FAIR PRICE . People are getting wild, i know we're new to winning but people overreact to everything now. Do people remember last year when he got beat by montez sweat at will? Then he recovered just fine. Hes only 31 so he aint going to just be a backup with the snap of a finger. Plus we just gave him an extension. Hell be a starter for 2 years after this one
