Nice intro solo. It sucks people don’t play like this anymore but just adding modern influences. Most modern guitarists come up with great solos, record them note for note, and play it the same way every time. But for some reason jamming is gone.

Its funny to hear people say Boss are affordable, I'm 51 and have been buying pedals for years. I earn a pretty good wage, but have only ever had 2nd hand Boss pedals, never a new one. These boutique pedals that cost $500- $1000 bucks, who in their right mind is paying that when you can get Boss (or even Behringer) pedals that sound decent for much less. Tbh the Boss Waza line of pedals and their X line are quite expensive in my opinion, quite aspirational for the hobbyist.

Interesting! Mine does not sound this fuzzy! Sounds more like an overdrive or distortion. I guess there is variability from circuit to circuit (and based on the weather)

There's nothing better than a Stones tune to test overdrive pedals. This one is particularly snarly 😊
@ars7music5 күн бұрын
great pedal, but I suggest some equalizer with a few bands and maybe some compression , because this guy is loud and nasty. If you want some clean and loud yield, you will have it. You will have what ever you want, but get some eq and compression. This lovely piece is very versatile, but not so easy to get all the love you deserved from it. So, make it happy and so he will for you.

One more reasonably priced and easy to use drum pedal with ten thousand parameters that screw you up in a live setting, and I’m about ready to tie a tambourine to my toes.😂 No, seriously, if you think that you are going to take this stuff out to a live gig, it will take a while to tame the beasty Beastbuddy, because it is anything but intuitive. And to loop with it, you have to midi up, which is another four new connections and a bunch of settings on the looper to worry about during load-in and sound check. How ‘bout I hire my friend with the Cajone?😊

@@ProGuitarShopDemos ah got it thanks! Brett is one of the few guys in the world that can take any pedal and really get to the core of its's nature, & has the skills to then apply it in a digestible way. I hold that guy in pretty high regard. Thanks for the feedback!

That shit at 5:21 goes so hard, always has. Has to be one of the hardest riffs in history and it’s almost hidden in the recorded version. It sounds even harder slowed down!

FYI! Back in the day Neil had a reverb unit built that he used live. I don't remember if he used it in the studio. It was NOT digital it was stacked reverb units however I'm pretty sure that they stacked two but possibly four units together. You can hear this on the Live Rust album "Cinnamon Girl" (Live Rust is a compilation of what Neil says are his fav's, also used in the movie). He had it cranked up all the way on that recording. Somewhere down the road on tour he was playing "Like a Hurricane", also on the "Live Rust" album, and it blew up on him. You can hear this if you listen carefully to that song. He noticed it but played on thru. I do believe this album was Neil at his very best! One more thing! If you have the time could you do the Live Rust version of "Like A Hurricane"! Thanks Reply
