That's a turbocharged EMD 710-G3A. It is also used on the F59PHI and many other locomotives.

Impressive turnout that day. Pity you had to deal with lighting/sun and wind for the smoke bowling going on there.

Good to catch up briefly again Chris - shame there wasn't more of interest around the time of the two charters. I see you waited for the sand and a few more freight in the end though - luckily I chose the footbridge at Ketton for 60028 as 66715 would've totally bowled it had I gone to the foot crossing!

Great capture! As someone that lives in the Midwest of the U.S., I enjoy a gentle thunderstorm. The sound of the rain and the sound of the rumbling of thunder (cloud to cloud lightning) make me feel comfort for some reason. It can put me to sleep. I also might be weird though. LOL

Hi cmeonthemove I hope this comment finds you well. I recently came across your video "The Monster Coal Trains of the Hunter Valley NSW - Part 1 to 3" and was impressed by the amazing sounds of the trains. I particularly enjoyed the sounds of the wheels on the tracks. I am working on a Trainz project and would love to use some of those sounds for my coal trains' bogie sounds including other trains. I understand the copyright license for your video and would like to ask for your permission to use a few of the sounds in my project. I would give you full credit for the sounds in the description of my Trainz asset after uploading it to the DLS, and I would not redistribute the sounds. Would you be willing to grant me permission to use some of those sounds in my project? I would be deeply grateful for your consideration. Thank you for your time, and keep up the great work! Best regards, Colorado Railfan Productions
@cmeonthemove4 ай бұрын
Hi. Yes by all means you can use the sounds. Can you take them from the video or do you need the original files? Chris
@coloradorailfanproductions27024 ай бұрын
@@cmeonthemove Hi Chris, Thanks so much for your generous reply and allowing me permission. That's awesome. I'd love to use the original files if possible, as they'll provide better sound quality for my project. if you'd like to send them to me. I can provide you my email address if you like. I'll also try to extract the sounds from the video temporarily while I wait. Thanks again for your generosity! Best wishes, Colorado Railfan Productions
