They get rocked pretty consistently when they aren’t locked in. It’s not a team who can coast. Should at least be interesting when other teams have that extra gear waiting ready to go down the stretch of the season. How does this team react down the stretch?

Yeah I really wanna like Zadorov, but this game made it real tough to find any reason why it’s a positive thing that he’s on our team. I’m really glad they’re keeping Potsy up and letting him work through his game, but he’s been really rough defensively, feels like he’s on the ice for a lot of opposing goals. Also you took the words out of my mouth with Lettieri, can we be done with that please and bring up Merk or Lysell? This team has failed time and time again to build any momentum off good wins and go on any type of run, very frustrating and concerning especially in the back half of the season. To end on a positive, give Lohrei another 2-3 season, I truly believe he could be the best defenseman on this team. The offense is there and if he can improve defensively he’s gonna be an absolute stud. Go B’s.

I honestly don't know who's a bigger defensive liability Lorhie or Zadorov..... lorhie has been awful this year. I dont see what everyone else does about him. He is always out of position, he isnt strong enough to check or be physical, he gets skated by every other shift, he thinks he is still a winger and hasnt figured out when to pinch and when not to. D were not great, but an absolutely brutal defensive game from our forwards. Poitras had some nice offensive moments but I count two goals where he just wasn't where he was supposed to be. His poor skating is kind of a liability, unfortunately. You can check NHL Edge, but he's like bottom 10% of the league for speed.
