Livernois will not run water/Meth on 2.3l EB. They only run straight meth and only direct injections. so you need to run a rail on the manifold and drill ports. Otherwise you run pooling risks. Hope this all works today.

Good that it's fitted with a cylinder support system on the block, I was wondering if it had, esp with 450bhp, don't think it would last a long time without it, head gasket might fail due to some small movement of cylinder walls and the silly slot ford decide to machine into the block. 🙂

Adam, do you have a part number for the 1.5 service block? Ford won't give a specific part number for this block as well as the 1.6 service block.

I highly doubt the new service block from Ford will address the open deck other than just fill in the missing material in the slot. A proper interference fit closed deck support is the only answer IMO. I learned this from my d series Honda days.

This has nothing to do with open deck vs closed deck. It’s to address the cylinder liner cracking issue which will happen on open or closed deck regardless. The correct answer is sleeving. Which is what we do to every single block we build for this platform now.

@@15thward33 Yeah, but that's on an MRX block, that's a different story, also i've been wondering, do you just order the methanol online or can you get it at a gas station? Because here in the netherlands the best we got is E10, no E40, no E85, well, it can be ordered in barrels, but that's a pain and way too expensive

@@MrTurbo_ e50 for me is blend of half 93 and half pump e85 but of course it’s not always 100 percent e85 it may be e70 or something but as long as it 70 or over you good with 50/50 mix. For meth I get mine from VP racing. They have a office local her in San Antonio but you have to give them 2 day advance notice and it’s 60 bucks a drum (5gallons) now if you do 50/50 meth blend it’s ok but better to do 100 percent meth on those cars. Mine tuner have my set at it doesn’t spray until 20lbs of boost and it gradually increases until full boost of 32 lbs

@@MrTurbo_ e10 is like our premium gas in the states have 10 percent ethanol. But if you add meth to it it’s like you using race gas and you can add more timing

@@15thward33 Got it, i wish we had pump E85 here, but methanol i could get my hands on, but for now i don't think i need it, doing about 360bhp on a x48 and i don't think i'll be able to effectively use more, i don't do much highway driving so acceleration above 150 km/h aint too important for me, but i'm planning to eventually go AWD using the ecosport rear suspension, but i'm still not sure which gearbox to use for that. If i manage to get AWD working though i'll get a G25-550 and try to go for somewhere around 520bhp on a forged block, by then methanol is probably useful

There are a lot issues with the wrap for sure, and I agree with a lot of the criticism however complaining that the bumper wasn’t done in one piece and having issues with using multiple pieces is unrealistic. If you want a wrap to last there needs to be as minimal stretch/tension as possible and using multiple pieces is one way of doing that. Hopefully he set good expectations with the seams but know “instagram/being the hero wrapper” is fake.
