@@chicano3478 8gm dry weight about 10gm with light hooks but weight will vary depending which hooks you use. As it is with light hooks about 10gms it sinks about 1m per 3 seconds.

@@zaydientorres-rb8kg I use Lexan poly carbonate. On some of my older lures I used Perspex which was prone to snapping and not as strong as lexan.

@@zaydientorres-rb8kg it depends on how deep you want the lure to dive. This one dives about 60cm so is angled quite shallow. Usually the smaller the angle the deeper the lure will dive. A 85-90 degree angle usually results in a wake bait.

@@ShredCobenMck the key is a nice buoyant wood for example pine, then you want a nice heavy weight, I use lead as it’s heavy for its size, then you want a streamlined body and lip. Feel free to check out my channel where I post how to style videos. Hope this helps and happy fishing🐠

this is an extremely well made bait. loving the lures man! I'd love to see this on a larger scale. maybe 13-14 cm long. Only suggestion is maybe making the line tie pilot holes a little smaller than the diameter of the twist wire. this would give it a better friction fit and get a better bond between materials with the CA glue. I would shoot for a through wire but the rattle chamber would have to move. On a bigger bait im sure its possible. Again, keep making baits man! Great work.
