I made a bi-material lure sorta similar to yours. The top was wood and the bottom was resin. I drilled a hole in the resin from the tail towards the head to insert a small glowstick for night time fishing. I also shape lead with pliers because I don't have a melting pot. I'm glad you didn't paint the sides. That lure needs to show its seam, part of its character. Great job again!
