@team2films I guess it's just a personal question, whether you feel one is more important than the other for your workflow. Totally depends on a creators needs, and both would definitely be best.
@team2films
@team2films Күн бұрын
@@Jeff_Lathrop Yeah, it's a hard one. Love the search dial. on the keyboard. Love the rings and trackballs for primary corrections. But you can live without either... as it's possible to do everything with a keyboard and mouse. Remember they don't make you a better editor or colourist... they make you a quicker one. So if you have to choose between the two it's worth considering whether you spend more time colour grading or more time editing. Really sorry we can't give you a more concise answer. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@team2films Thanks for the feedback! Either one would be a luxury for me at this point, no doubt. I think making simultaneous adjustments to lift/gamma/gain would be pretty neat, and the dial seems really nice for timeline work. However, my grades are getting simpler the more I learn; and my videos are pretty short - so it will be a splurge that I justify as an an ergonomic upgrade once I get some more projects done this year. Physical controls like these are always nice! Happy editing :)

Aaaaah! Yes. I finally sussed out the answer to your questions. Thank you very much for your quick reply. I am a noob, so it took me a few minutes of trial and error. No, it was not set to use project settings. I will outline my solution for the benefit of other readers: Right click on the current timeline icon in the media bin. Hover over "timelines" in the context menu then select "timeline settings" in the fly-out menu. Go to the color tab, and at the bottom left find a selection box for "use project settings". Mine was greyed out and unselectable. However, I changed "color science" to "daVinci yrgb color managed", and then checked the box for "automatic color management". Returning to my media, I was able to select several clips, and right-clicking on them now showed the "input color space" selection.

@team2films
@team2films 4 күн бұрын
@@jamescook5931 Heya James Most of my photography is on film currently. I really like the look of Fuji's GFX medium format cameras. I really like what Fuji has been doing with their other stills cameras too. Photograph is such a mature market now, so you can pretty much buy any FF mirrorless camera and you're going to get amazing pictures. I'm more familiar with Canon's line up so that would be their R series. You don't have to spend major dollar! Remember, if budget is limited, put your money in lenses not in bodies. Currently, my main digital photography camera is a Canon 6D! It's old, but like I said, digital stills cameras are really really mature. The biggest improvements have been in things like auto focus, resolution and video features... Beyond those things a 10+ year old camera like the 6D will still hold it's own really well.

The dimensions of the final image are dependent on the squeeze factor, the size of the sensor used to capture the image and how the image is cropped. For example, if you shoot on 1.33:1 sensor (4:3) with a 1.5x lens you’ll end up with an image that’s close to 16:9 Does that help?

You guys are goat'd for davinci guides. You guys are my go to for updates. How did you set your colors like pencils at around the 1:58 mark? I do videos for VTUBERs, and magic mask is hard to use on anime characters sometimes cause the color palette matches the background. Wondering if you have any suggestions around this. I usually have to use a lot of marks of add and subtracts to get a good mask. Also, the tracker defaults to intellitrack, but you can use the legacy tracker by adding a "Point" and removing the intellitrack. yooo referencing OTHER KZbinRS ?? YOU GUYS ARE GREAT. Let me know if I can help support you guys in anyway! I am not a great editor but I have a different perspective just from the type of videos I make.

hey, i got same thought too last couple months. Yes you can use adjustment clip as fusion comp too...both of them have identical output...... But, if i correctly remember, you can render in place Fusion Comp only, meanwhile the adjustment clip cannot be rendered in place alone, except you bring the media underneath to be rendered together.
