Bro that jump at 4:01 must’ve been so awesome! I want to go on a trip like this but wouldn’t even know where to begin especially with Rod and reel set up. Only have ever gone rock fishing on the local boats (Santa Barbara - morro bay).

Nobody is noticing the Cuban Cohiba. 🤤 probably the rarest thing on the boat. Solid video, fish and cigar! Hopping on the Aztec 7/4. Hopefully will be a trip like this.

Does "Gone Fishing" boat rental rent you the fishing gear too? Or do you bring it up when you come?
@letsgooofishing13 ай бұрын
gonefishinalaska.com I brought my own setups but I know they rent gear. I believe it’s $10 per rod per day.

That was AWESOME Lance!!!! Love the underwater footage!!!!! I worked in the metal industry for over 25 years, so when they talk about a hot pot, that is usually because of bare metal coming in contact with the ground, and salt water! Our hoops are coated, so that would not be the case for our pots! The ones that are more prone to being hot are the commercial style, and that's why with those you have to attach a Zinc metal to those pots to stop the electrical current!! I hope this makes some sense!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Gabe really appreciate the knowledge! That makes sense. As long as they’re working I’m happy 😂

When are you coming over for the crab boil?
@vincentrussell72465 ай бұрын
Question ❓ have you seen other videos like yours crabing, well all videos are basically the same but those who go little longer film a little more and show us viewers in detail how you're cooking and eating them because that's the difference between a regular video and a really good one hopefully you start implementing this, I would like to see you doing cooking and eating them in some good recipes

That would really suck if you got your hoops robbed! I stay right on top of mine just for that reason. Honestly for being in the shallows like that you did well. Back in April I lost my radar on a foggy day and had to stay in close and caught two small females and a few rock. That was it. Good luck on getting things fixed.
