If i use a condenser microphone on line 1, does that mean I can’t use input 2,3 and 4 with dynamic microphones or guitars etc? Basically making 2,3 and 4 useless?

I'm seriously worried about it. I needed something this tiny for my live gigs so that I don't have to bring my large Mackie mixer with me. But already the first QX1002USB had to be returned as after only 20 minutes of it being on - both compressors magically turn on on their own with nothing plugged in and a loud screaming, popping sound is heard from headphones. Filter capacitors evidently dead on it. Now I'm taking my second one out of the box and only after an hour my power supply/AC110 to AC 15V converter is ridiculously hot. I mean the mixer wasn't even plugged into it yet and so not under a significant load. If this converter dies, - sure I have a few extra 15 volts AC adapters, and I could fashion a necessary adapter for it, but the quality of workmanship worries me, especially after reading so many horror stories. My Mackie mixer is barely warm adapter and all even with 24 volt phantom power turned on and this thing is like a jet engine. It has 100 effects, and while most of them are utter crap, there are a few that seem rather decent like some of the flangers, plate and hall reverbs and couple of delays. I seriously hope it doesn't immediately die on me and works at least 3-4 years. If any of you people owned one this long, - please reassure me. Thx.

Thanks for the review, but it's not a MIDI interface. (I WISH it had a MIDI interface!) It's a USB audio interface.

I bought one. Use it for a Live Duo, it’s more than I need, No problems with it, It doesn’t have the standard electrical cord,it has a proprietary elec cord only made for this machine that has a screw in lock to it, at first I was like uh oh, no spare…but I have learned to like it..

I got this mixer about 6 months ago and it’s great. I use it and also a focusrite 2i2 interface combined into garage band and I can’t fault it for the price. Like you I was also using the Behringer mixer prior. Not yo much wrong with those either but the Yamaha is definitely a step up. Cheers.

Good Morning. I come to ask for help in solving a problem. I purchased a Behringer XENYX Q1002USB mixer. However as this model has no effects included, I intend to connect a Behringer Digital Reverb DR600, but I have to connect two cables from the Behringer Digital Reverb DR600 to the Behringer XENYX Q1002USB table, my question is where can I connect the cables. One of them I know is at the FX SEND input, and the other cable to make the return, where do I call? As the instruction guide does not explain, I hope you can help me in this matter, since neither the brand nor the supplier does not inform me. Please, if possible, send detailed information to [email protected]. Thank you

Great video, and I'm considering it.. However, I am confused about the individuality of the channels.. For example, if I have delay on a channel 1 mic, is it going to also affect all the other channels as well? Is it also going to also cause delay on the guitar channel? Or could I have 1 mic channel with delay, one mic channel with chorus, and a clean guitar channel? Thanks.
@AdventSeph4 жыл бұрын
from what i'm gathering, the fx knob on each channel is what's used to enable (and modify the intensity) of the effects, but does that knob also redirect the channel to the fx output for a potential mix minus setup? and do the effects get applied to just the fx send output or simultaneously to both that and the main output? I want to be able to send my mic audio to two separate devices so I was wondering if I could use the mic channel's fx knob to send my mic audio to both the main mix and the fx send, being able to apply sound effects to my voice to both devices would be a bonus if it works like that.
