Delighted that the KZbin algorithm forwarded Ms Basilio’s music to me . . . had never heard of her! And after about a week of closely listening and greatly enjoying a number of her tunes, I recognize her as the vanguard of great guitarist, so many of them non American; Lorenzo Ceci (Italian), Rhythm Shaw (East Indian) and the remarkably talented Lari Basilio (Brazilian). As a former mid-late 70’s college jazz disc jockey, it is gratifying to see the fusion foundation laid down by Return to Forever, the Mahavishnu Orchestra and Weather Report is so ably being built on 🎶😮😊😄

for 4 days, ive been screamin for help, a sign, a something……my Dad was put into hospice this past Monday…and even though, we all knew, it was coming, I was wrecked….this, this, i dont know, if its the frequency, the melody, the warmth of a hug…..has been the only thing in 4 days, that has calmed me…..i dont know if this is Laris song or her interpretation, but wowza, just just beautiful,i thank you ❤️👍
