She was still very beautiful and still youthful. To me she was one of the most beautiful women ever.

King is treating Elizabeth with such disrespect! Repeatedly re-reading Enquirer headlines. Asking her about dying.

I love that woman. What she did for AIDS activism. A Saint! And one of the most incredible actors I've ever encountered. Virginia Woolf would whole heartedly agree.

She was straight talker! I wonder was it all a smear campaign against Michael Jackson after all…poor man.

Less than 5 years later she was dead at age 79 - March 2011. (Her mother had lived into her early 90s.)

I met a Taxi driver in Stuttgart who picked Elisabeth Taylor at the airport in the late 60s. She was with a woman friend. She realized he recognized her. She was very cordial to the driver. He saw all of her films and asked her about them. She answered everything and he listened for the most part. After a half hour, he got to where she wanted to go. He said that American celebrities tip really good and European celebrities tip better than average, but no way near what the Americans tip. She however went overboard. She gave him the best tip he ever got in his life.

Elizabeth Taylor was such a good sport to sit through all of those interviews through the years. Phil Donahue spent an hour asking her about her body parts. I miss Elizabeth. Rest in Peace to a great lady. R.I.P. to larry too.

When they asked her to take the role of Cleopatra, she said only for a million and some share in the profits and they agreed. I don't remember the profit earnings or how that works, but apparently, she was the first woman actor to earn a mil on a film.

Why did Larry not do his homework. He came off as an idiot to me, as someone who loves jewelry. He was insulting out of ignorance.

She was still a breathtakingly beautiful lady at 74. But, the most beautiful thing about her was her kindness, compassion and concern for others. Elizabeth was a trailblazer, raising money to fight against AIDS from early on. This wonderful woman exuded kindness, compassion and concern. She had always been that way. She left a legacy that continues the good work she started, even today. What a remarkable woman. In her time, the most beautiful woman in the world physically. Yet, she was even far more beautiful on the inside. God bless this remarkable woman who will be remembered for her humanitarianism as much as for her beauty and talent. RIP Elizabeth, you will forever be remembered and always missed,
