I love watching your videos, no matter the topic. It is such a comfort place.

Just found your stream and enjoyed it. Good advice about painting, choosing colours. For the bathroom you are totally right about colour of the lights. And you can change that by choosing warmer or cooler light bulbs! The colour is listed and identified by degrees Kelvin, and the higher the number, the "cooler", bluer the light is. Also, this could be listed as Warm White, Daylight, or Cool White. Your new place looks lovely! Enjoy!

I feel like if you ever read modern philosophy, you automatically read lots of French authors. Inevitable.

I'll allow it. Though since you are in the Netherlands, you aren't interesting in playing the original Team Fortress, are you? I wrote my own fork, so we are always looking for people, and since you have the rare ability of being able to read you might fit right in. That's if you don't have the common 3D space issue most girls seem to have. Weird inquiry, I know, but now you won't be able to say "why didn't you ask" when we meet in our next life when we are both cats.

For New Zealand, please read from a Māori author! Some recommendations: The Whale Rider by Witi Ihemaera (indigenous YA feminism about a patriarchal family, and inheritance) Purākau: Māori Myths Retold by Māori Writers (indigenous mythology) The Dawnhouds (queer and indigenous magical realism with pirates and critisism of Police) Otherwise you can search for Māori fiction/fantasty and there are some incredible authors ❤ I understand colonial/white New Zealand might not feel worth seeking out, but our indigenous people have beautiful stories to tell that will be very different to the rest of the english speaking world x

I‘m currently moving too and I feel/felt exactly the same. Every day was just searching for furniture and organising things for the flat, installments and assembling things… it felt like I didn’t have any weekends in Juli. Now most stuff arrived and half of it is assembled, I can already stay overnight there, though I still need to ask a friend to help me with getting the ceiling lights onto the ceiling haha

As someone who just moved two weeks ago, the part where you said that you have to pack gave me goosebumps. Best of luck and patience. And definitely write the content of the boxes on the boxes, otherwise you'll live two weeks without half of your underwear.

I just have to comment; i love your vlogs, both on this channel but also the ones you have been posting on your other channels earlier! It is nice to follow someone who enjoys the same things as me, like reading, scented candles, cozy ambiance and browsing bookstores ☕📚 Looking forward to the next vlog and good luck with the move. I am so excited to see you decorate the place, the vintage style you have is so inspiring😃 And yes, old fashioned picnic baskets are just *chefs kiss* in my opinion as well!

Hello from Slovenia! I'm quite late to this video but still, I thought I might recommend something from my country if you are maybe still doing this - I recommend Alamut (author is Vladimir Bartol), it's quite different than many books written at the same time, but it is also considered a classic here. It was also translated into many foreign languages at some point. Another one that I personally enjoyed was Kurent by Ivan Cankar, I think it's worth a read :)
