I find it so interesting that the seasons are so different in other countries!! In Ireland our calender is linked to our pagan history, so the winter solstice (shortest day of the year) has to be in the middle of winter, same with the summer solstice (longest day of the year). So here winter starts is november-january, and autumn is august-october. Just thought it was worth mentioning with the conversations about seasons. Love your vlogs ☺

Living in upper Egypt. It's kinda the opposite for me. I cherish cloudy days because they are rare. As for rain, it only happens like 6 days of the year.still I appreciate having abit of the warm sun on my face in winter.

It only took me 51 years of life to find another person who experiences 5 seasons. December is Christmas decor, tasks and scents. January 1st is winter.

Your videos are sooo cozy, I really love both of your channels and they are the only thing I've been watching these days. I moved to France a few months ago and I'm not used to these short winter days, I lived in a country with much more sunlight all year, so this video helped me to feel more comfortable with the current weather. Thank you for being an amazing company and I would love to see more videos about gothic books

Yes! I love the concept of the 5th season. I love festive time, but once that's over, it's just a long dreary winter where I live.

We had Comic Con here in Brazil last week and I think it is so magical that even though we are not even in the same continent, nor hemisphere, I can relate so much to almost every aspect of your experience. From picking a lowkey faerie-like outfit, to the overwhelm being compensated by the chance to spend the day surrounded by amazing art and artists in the Artist's Alley. Thanks for sharing, your videos always make my day.

Dining table=coffee table with legs. It is perfect for puzzles during the fall/winter time. Moving it around…add felt tabs under table footing.

this is the first year in a long time that i’ve actually felt pretty good going into the winter season. it’s hard when your mood is so heavily influenced by the amount of sunlight you’re getting each day. being in better spirits, i’m trying to enjoy the beauty of the season!! ❤️

Buying stuff to hang up when you eventually move is very relatable. I do the same thing and it currently the only thing keeping me sane in my tiny room. I already have 3 Posters and 2 prints for when I finally move out 😅

Haven‘t seen this in some time, but that first print with the unicorn is actually kind of an adaptation of one part of the unicorn tapestries from late middle ages to early renaissance - i think this one you bought is the last part and called ‚unicorn in captivity’ (at least thats what its called in german) - just some random tmi 😅 And for me it definitely is the same with the cosy dark vibes 😊

The first print with a unicorn (stunning, btw) reminds me a bit of Last Unicorn, the OG "fairy-tale-y" fantasy book. Have you read it? For me the winter starts as soon as the snow falls, or 1st december - whichever comes first. I wish I enjoyed late autumn more, but the time btween yellow leaves and the snow is kind of hibernation time for me...

beautidul art, cosy vibes! :) ive said it before, but i´ll say it again, you should really get a bookpillow to lean your books against and hold them open. that way you dont have to hold the book and it comes nearer you. i love mine and has helped my shoulder pain...perfect for holding the phone and tablet too :) My sister found it in an bookshop, but they are available online as well.

I feel like you are not alone with your hunger games obsessing defrosting. I have seen people do rereads of the hunger games trilogy lately, and a lot of people are jumping on this book and movie. I am personally not, I was never obsessed with the hunger games or had a hunger games phase, I did like them overall as a trilogy but I also see it as a past thing for me. Recently my close friend read Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and really loved it, and I know myself that I would love Lucy Gray as a character. And I did see this small thing on the hunger games books in general in which it described the difference between Lucy and Katniss. Katniss is hunter being put into a performance, and Lucy is a performer being put into a hunt. And that is so far the closest thing that has made me want to read the ballad of songbirds and snakes.
