Your grip is insecure. Your wrist changes angle when you change strings, which changes the angle of the stick over the hair, which changes the tone quality. And so, you have fundamental problems with your technique. However, you have a funny accent, so i suppose that makes your errors ok.

the slur creates a differential note due to expansion/compression of the wave. Every signal has a delta signal. You can hear frequencies of the delta signal. It is why you can hear intervals.

I would never teach myself or my students that my fingers can get to a point that they do not have to think. First: fingers do not have a brain of their own. Second: always be thinking. Practice without thought results in practice without progress. There are many books written on this concept. 2 examples: 10,000 Hours The Inner Game of Tennis
@sergeirachmaninoff78055 күн бұрын
it’s just a way of expressing the fact that you can’t do an extremely fast passage consciously. of course you still have to think. but instead of thinking “this note, then the next” you think “3 octave a minor scale.” if you’ve played an a minor scale 10,000 times the same way, you can do it easily without “thinking,” and that’s the whole point of the video. this is like pretty standard stuff for advanced music training, not just violin lol
@bewoproductions90975 күн бұрын
@@sergeirachmaninoff7805 I get that, but there are several layers to thought that you will want to use to develop that passage. Then, you can pick and choose from the thought layers you use.

A shorter pinky nail would also help keep the pinky in place, flexible. Not sure why this is so rarely discussed but is it not obvious that if the nail is longer than the flesh it will be in the way?
