If you want to use the small jar to grind a small potion of coffee if you put ice in with it would it stop it being cooked by the blades? And you could then cook it on the stove I prefer to do then using any of those machines that use aluminium in the filters etc

I grind coffee on that one and it’s never wet!

Just ordered my Dry Container today. I got a bit freaked when the Vitamix website goosed up the price about $50, so I made a mad dash to find an online vendor who didn't get the memo yet. I'll experiment with flours, but I got this powders -- particularly peppers. Also, I've collected a slew of DYI Dry Mix recipes.

"the blades arent sharp" i grew up only using a vitamix & somehow never realized regular blenders have sharp blades till i was in my 20s. My bf's mom was so confused when i explained the blade doesnt come out for washing like other blenders (hers was the first i saw taken apart) & i was confused as to why i would get cut 😂

I have a Vitamix... I have never experienced the “vacuum” or any special effect. It revs, for sure, but it all gets stuck at the bottom anyway.

I got the 3300 (almost the exact same as the best vitamix offers 3500, but without the presets) for $350 on Black Friday 2 years ago.

I hate how messy and how much the food jumps in the blender. My first vitamix didn’t do that! The lid gets completely yucky and makes a mess!

Hexclad is trying to offer a product between traditional nonstick pans and stainless steel. They do this by embossing a pattern of stainless steel above the teflon coating so it protects it from scratching, but you suffer a loss in the nonstick performance. I've seen plenty of people who complain about this pan having sticking issues with food. In my opinion there's no need for a pan like this, just get a cheap nonstick pan if you need it, and then settle with another pan with an actual long lasting material like cast iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel. All nonstick coatings will fail.

I wish I caught this deal on Black Friday. My blender went down hill. I guess it's not as water proof as they led me to believe? I am looking at this same blender, but a refurbished model directly from Vitamix in another week. Thanks for the video. The man does a great demonstration and works better than I do with the kids.

For a 350 dollar blender, I missed the part where it gets all the stuff out of the fridge, puts it all in the blender for you, and then serves you like a well trained.

I have the grain bowl and love it! For truly fresh flours, it is only way to go and the flavor shows up in your baked goods. Right now (2022), there is a problem getting the whole grains but that should be fine again after all are recovered from the effects of the panemic and supply issues. IMPORTANT: Keep your grains frozen because they heat during milling and keeping them frozen also keeps them fresh. Mill only what you need each time. The very first time you mill your own from fresh grain you will be delighted at the fresh flavor.

I'm looking for dry containers. That's the powder converter. As far I know, the blade is bend downward on dry container.

I bought this same blender today at Costco for cheaper and it came with more! Got the E320 + PCA package for $300

We had this blender but had to get the same one after 11 months. I think what happened was we burned it out. We used it without the taper thing. This new one we bought I am using that taper thing every single night well except for Wednesdays and Thursdays. Those days my fiance she is off those days. This blender does awesome smoothies. Never made soup yet and I don't know if we will.
