Yachtwin is slower than a lightwin. Lower grear ratio and less pitch 3 blade prop. For pushing heavier boats.

The wood is steamed for 15-30 minutes.

The boards are pine (pines sylvestris) , the ribs are ash (Fraxinus). Temperature when steaming the wood is normal atmospheric steam, 100 C.

Listening to him talk reminds me of listening to my grandparents and their brothers and sisters talk. They all have that same cadence and dry (don't know of anyother way to describe it) accent. Sure brings back memories. Thanks for posting
