You can get a large variac and wind on the low voltage winding with flat high gauge romex, about as cheap easy and safe as it could be,,, or also insulated magnet wire. ANd then air cool it, toroidal transformers are very cheap and easy to cool, its worth it.

I bought a vevor inverter very expensive and should do 3kw peak 6kw. I used it alone not with another and used max 600w on it and after a month smoke came out and it was on fire. Would like to build my own or use a lot of cheap ones say 150w ones to make a string to make up the lot. Anyone has any ideas on how to do this without blowing it?
