For me as an Eastern European the most intersting is the fake famicom and Mega Drive games.
@cnlonegamer6 сағат бұрын
@johncarnege Thank you for watching. But by fake, you mean those multi-cartridges or the unlicensed games? Our Chinese players just grew up with the multi famicom carts and fake mega drive games. Some of the unlicensed games from Taiwan are so brilliant at that time😄
@johncarnege6 сағат бұрын
@@cnlonegamer Anything that is made in the 90's and fake are interesting to me. I would even pay if you find rare titles. For example that Mario one for the Mega Drive could go for 15 Dollar without question here. The more "older" a fake cart the more it's worth. So big yellow or orange cartidge single games worth the most
@cnlonegamer5 сағат бұрын
@johncarnege I checked the internet for that Mario game, and it may be the a port of Super Mario World, I think such a game is not very old, at least not produced in the 90s🤣

@thiago1385 Although I've heard the master system got the official released in China, but we barely knew that system...bcz those fami clones dominated the whole country. Back in the days, a fake famicom=a VHS system, that means ppl treat it as an appliance but not a gaming console

Here (in the 80s and 90s) was like that, but one company get the license from sega and since then they sell it hahaha look for it later, tec toy , they did amazing stuff, like mega drive games ports to master system and local games like Chapolim and Turma da Monica (chapolim is a tv show huge famous from mexico and Monica is a brazilian comics for kids)

Nick, I dont see very much PC Engine or Turbo Duo in your ghost market videos. were these not available in china or not popular?
@cnlonegamer20 сағат бұрын
@fumanchuaeon4725 A few months ago, I saw a PCE handheld system, but it was taken by someone immediately. And yes, they were not so popular back in the days because of the high price, you know, people were poor in that era, so we can only afford those cheap fake games, that's why famicom and mega drive were so popular, so does the gameboy family and both ps1 and ps2 consoles🤣

The PC Engine / TG16 is very very uncommon in Asia. If you see it, get it fast.

@StriderVM I asked my friend today, and he said there used to be lots of PCE consoles(fake and original) before, but they are nowhere to find nowadays. The fake console even has a big cartridge slot to fit in those fake cartridges.

So glad I found your channel, I'm really interested in the gaming market in China, as I feel it gets overlooked compared to other regions. I'm especially interested in retro games, so this is right up my alley. Question for you: How do you feel about fake "homebrew" Gameboy games that were made in China? Games like "太空戰士X" and "武鬥會" are actually quite good, and I am curious how people within China regard these games both then/now. Thank you for your videos!
@cnlonegamer6 күн бұрын
You're welcome my friend, the homebrew or bootleg games in China is really something here when I was young(early 90s), I remember they made tons of unlicensed games on Famicom, GameBoy or even MegaDrive. People love those games mainly because they're not only related to our cultures(based on the famous novels like Romance of Three Kingdoms, Outlaws of the Marsh and Journey to the West), but also they have Chinese language support. The 太空戰士 is the homebrew to Final Fantasy IIRC, that kind of game is so popular at that era because we can finally play such a long game compare to other genres in our mother language 😀

I believe the wii is the first nintendo console that has 60hz mode worldwide, and that one in the ghost market is not like the traditional one in the stores, it must be some garbage or disposed by someone then came to those seller's hand, plus we were not sure if it's functional, without any warranty this $20 is full of risk😅
