So glad I found your channel, I'm really interested in the gaming market in China, as I feel it gets overlooked compared to other regions. I'm especially interested in retro games, so this is right up my alley. Question for you: How do you feel about fake "homebrew" Gameboy games that were made in China? Games like "太空戰士X" and "武鬥會" are actually quite good, and I am curious how people within China regard these games both then/now. Thank you for your videos!

You're welcome my friend, the homebrew or bootleg games in China is really something here when I was young(early 90s), I remember they made tons of unlicensed games on Famicom, GameBoy or even MegaDrive. People love those games mainly because they're not only related to our cultures(based on the famous novels like Romance of Three Kingdoms, Outlaws of the Marsh and Journey to the West), but also they have Chinese language support. The 太空戰士 is the homebrew to Final Fantasy IIRC, that kind of game is so popular at that era because we can finally play such a long game compare to other genres in our mother language 😀

It was great to see the retro gaming stuff in China, and the fake games are interesting, something I dont see often in the US. Keep up the great work, your videos are fun and enjoyable.

It's very funny that our people usually do our best to sharpen our eyes bcz there's fake games everywhere, not to mention those unlicensed games. The authentic ones are always Japanese versions, so I dreamed of traveling to North America or Europe to buy some games in English...BTW, the English retro games are always more expensive than the Japanese ones 😆

The PlayStation at 5:20 has the red, white, and yellow composite output, which is sought after by audiophiles. It has a better audio output for CDs than aloost any CD player, given the cost of the system. They are usually worth more than the average PlayStation.

Yeah, I've heard that the very first model of PlayStation is amazing, a lot of people use it to play CDs😃

nice video but, the part where your mouth rook over the screen is immensely weird.

Sorry for that, it's because I don't have a microphone to resist the noise on the street, or I have to shout very loudly against the phone😂

$20 for Wii is very cheap in Sweden is double that price
@cnlonegamer6 күн бұрын
I believe the wii is the first nintendo console that has 60hz mode worldwide, and that one in the ghost market is not like the traditional one in the stores, it must be some garbage or disposed by someone then came to those seller's hand, plus we were not sure if it's functional, without any warranty this $20 is full of risk😅
@Ronsilk-pu5hr6 күн бұрын
Those 2 playstation slims were filthy dirty. Why would the seller not clean them before selling because he would get more money. I mean the first 2 playstations you showed but the 1 you got was nice
@cnlonegamer6 күн бұрын
You know, they simply don't have time to do that, because every week they'll got lots of things to sell

Yeah, I heard that game is awesome, and the novel is amazing too! Thank you for the love to Chinese gaming community! In a period of time, there were tons of good PC games developed by Chinese group. I thinking the Black Myth should bring some of them back!

I found one a few weeks ago, and they asked for 100 US dollars, which was a 2000 model, a Chinese version, with an Uncharted loose cartridge inside😃
